Does what it's supposed to, but has a very strong fishy odor (mine did, anyway; YMMV). From a previous review:
"Trimethylamine is the fishy odor converted from all forms of choline. Common mouth bacteria can do the conversion, so only clean spoons should touch the bulk powder. I can't find on the web whether the fishy conversion can happen just from air oxygen when the hygroscopic Choline Citrate gets damp."
Mine smelled bad from the start, so I believe it's an expected effect. Nevertheless, the smell goes away nearly completely when mixed with citrus juice, so it's not a problem. Make sure you avoid getting any on your hands, though, since the smell will be imparted. |
