ALCAR does act as a cognitive enhancer. While it doesn't have any profound mind or system jolting effects ( think about the first time you ever took ephedra ) with continued use you notice a difference in mental clarity. It's a nice cognitive enhancer that helps to keep your train of thought on it's tracks. For anyone who NEEDS to be able to focus at work, or for a workout after a hard day try ALCAR. This should be taken on an empty stomach
I'm gonna try making my own custom nootrpic "smart stack" by combining the following ingredients every day:
ALCAR - 1.5 grams daily
Alpha GPC - 1.5 grams daily
Tyrosine - 2 to 3 grams daily
Phosphatidylserine - 500mg daily
Piracetam, Vinpocetine, Huperzine A, Idebenone, and maybe DMAE all at the recommended doses.
This sounds like a lot but most of these are relatively cheap, especially from Bulk. If it works to enhance focus and improve mental clarity / health then it's worth the price IMO. Will post results after one month of use. |
