Very energizing -- to the point of causing jitteriness and anxiety -- if not used carefully. It worked best for me to take 1 capsule with breakfast. The label recommends taking 1 capsule a day for 7-10 days before trying 2 capsules and they aren't kidding. I got cocky and tried to take 2 capsules after taking 1 per day for only 3 days. I took one in the morning and then one at about 1:00 and by 2:00 I was a nervous wreck. I couldn't sit still or carry on a conversation. I almost had to go home from work. Instead I took a break and went for a 20 minute walk to calm myself down. This stuff works well for energy, but I had hoped it would work better for appetite suppression. It was ok, but not great. The best appetite supressant I've used is phentermine, but of course it requires a prescription. The ephedrine/caffeine stack would probably be next best, followed by Meridia. I'd probably put Venom as number 4 on the list...but it's number one for energy. Five stars for energy, three stars for appetite control. |
