Prunes
Prunes offer a wide variety of health benefits, probably more than we can
cover on this site. First of all, prunes contain lots of dietary fiber and are
widely know to be a good natural remedy for constipation. But that’s not all
there is….Prunes are a good source of Vitamin A (nature’s antioxidants..)
Dietary fiber, to help your digestive system. Soluble fiber, to help control the
release of glucose, and keep you ‘regular’. Potassium, to help maintain good
heart health and blood pressure. And we could go on for quite a while
longer….Quite a useful little fruit indeed….!
Organic Quinoa
Organically grown only in the Andean Mountains, Quinoa is called a ‘Supergrain’
because of its excellent nutritional qualities. It contains far more protein
than any other grain and also has a much higher biological quality (BQ) of
protein. This quality is defined by the level of presence of the various amino
acids that allow the body to transform the proteins you eat, into proteins it
can actually use. Eggs have the highest BQ at 95, so out of every 100gr of
protein you consume 95gr are actually absorbed and utilized by your organisms.
At 75, Quinoa scores considerably higher than meat (60), milk (72), wheat (60)
and corn (44). Quinoa has such excellent BQ of protein because it contains the
entire range of amino acids, and in the right proportions. Wheat, Corn and
barley have a more limited range of amino acids, in less usable proportions.
Besides excellent protein, Quinoa has other major benefits. It is very low on
fat, and much richer in iron, calcium, phosphor, fiber and Vitamin E than any
other grain. Vitamins in the B Group are also very well represented.
Last but not least, Quinoa is GLUTEN FREE – contrary to virtually all known
grains – and as such can be safely consumed by people with gluten intolerance.
(celiac disease).

Corn Syrup
Corn syrup is our choice of sweetener for quite a few reasons, for
instance:
Sweetness
High fructose corn syrup provides sweetness intensity equivalent to sugar. High
fructose corn syrup can replace sugar in one-for-one proportions.
Freshness
High fructose corn syrup promotes freshness in several ways. High fructose corn
syrup actually inhibits microbial spoilage by reducing water activity and
extends shelf life through superior moisture control.
Stability
Over time, high fructose corn syrup-sweetened products maintain sweetness and
flavor with no change in sweetness or flavor quality due to storage temperature
fluctuations or low product acidity.
White sesame Seed
White sesame seed contain high levels of unsaturated fatty acids, 22% of protein
rich in amino acids, and 5% of minerals. It also contains high levels of iron,
