3 in 1 Formula - Energy, Pain Relief,
and Focus Factor
Energy Blend
Glucuronolactone (glucuronic acid lactone) is a natural
metabolite found in the body. It supplies energy, increases feelings of
well-being, reduces sleepiness and is widely known to improve mental
performance, reaction time, concentration and memory.
Taurine is an amino acid believed
to play an important role in many areas of the body including the brain and
nervous system. It is presumed to act as a neurotransmitter and influence the
central nervous system. Taurine is also present in the retina, in cardiac and
skeletal muscle tissue, as well as in the bile where it participates in the
forming of bile acids. Taurine reduces muscle damage caused by exercise by
speeding recovery between workouts, reduces drowsiness, increases mental
alertness and improves reaction time.
L-Phenylalanine is an essential,
nine-carbon amino acid and is a precursor to the amino acid tyrosine. Because
tyrosine is necessary for the synthesis of proteins and the production of the
neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine, phenylalanine is an extremely
important nutrient that must be obtained through the diet or supplementation.
L-Phenylalanine can act as a
potent mental stimulant for improved concentration during workouts and an
increase in mental focus for thought processes in any sports activity.
N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine, also called
L-Tyrosine, is an essential amino acid since tyrosine can be made from the
amino acid phenylalanine. Tyrosine is converted into dopamine and
norepinephrine. Supplementation with both tyrosine and phenylalanine leads to
alertness and mental arousal. By increasing brain neurotransmitter
concentrations, tyrosine can help increase attention and combat performance
decrements during sustained efforts. Tyrosine may act as an “anti-stress
supplement”, suppressing rises in cortisol and the norepinephrine depletion
associated with the stress response.
Malic Acid is important to the
production of energy in the body during both aerobic and anaerobic conditions.
It is thought to improve energy production at the cellular level and may
benefit healthy individuals interested in maximizing their energy production.
Caffeine is found in the leaves, seeds or fruits of more than 60
plants, including coffee, tea, cocoa beans, kola and guarana. It is consumed
due to its stimulating effect, which lasts a few hours depending on the amount
of caffeine and the metabolism of the person.
Anti-Inflammatory Blend
Vitamin C is required for the growth and repair of tissues in
all parts of the body. It is essential for the healing of wounds, and for the
repair and maintenance of cartilage, bones, and teeth. It is an antioxidant
and enhances the absorption of magnesium. It is thought that Quercetin and
vitamin C work together to protect cells from inflammation-induced damage.
Quercetin is a bioflavonoid
compound that blocks the release of histamine and other anti-inflammatory
enzymes. It is a very powerful antioxidant that promotes a healthy immune and
cardiovascular system.
Curcumin is a powerful antioxidant
that blocks the activity of Cox-2. Curcumin was first used by Indians over
3000 years ago in traditional Ayurvedic medicine.
Cat’s Claw is an antioxidant that helps protect cells from
damage caused by free radicals. Results from various studies show that taking
cat’s claw by mouth may have anti-inflammatory effects for individuals with
either osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. It is believed that chemicals
in cat’s claw block the production of substances such as prostaglandins and
tumor necrosis factor, which are involved in inflammation.
Bromelain contains
anti-inflammatory enzymes that have ability to suppress the inflammation and
pain of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, sports injuries, and other
joint inflammatory conditions. It has been shown to inhibit the cyclooxygenase
enzyme, inhibiting the synthesis of PG-2 and helps break down fibrin (fibrinolytic),
thereby minimizing local swelling.
Cognitive Support Blend
Bacopa Monniera leaf extract has been shown to support
learning and memory in humans and has a direct effect on improving brain
functions, increasing concentration, and in promoting memory functions.
Choline Bitartate is a chemical
similar to the B-vitamins and serves various functions in our bodies, in the
structure of cell membranes, protecting our livers from accumulating fat and
works as a building block for the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and other
chemical messengers in the brain. It is a precursor to molecules that relay
signals between nerve cells, including those in the brain.
Acetyl L Carnitine is a stabilized
form of the amino acid metabolite L-Carnitine. It plays and important role in
the transfer and utilization of long-chain fatty acids, which are used in the
production of energy. Natural levels of Acetyl-l-carnitine diminish as we age.
It is thought to enhance cognition and improve mild mental impairment.
